La Cense de Baudecet, a property in the heart of Belgium, offers you an unforgettable stay in an authentic hamlet attached to the village of Sauvenière. This 19th century farmhouse offers a breathtaking and unobstructed 360-degree view of the countryside, with fairytale-worthy outdoor spaces. Take the ancient cobblestone Roman road, let the chickens roam freely across the road, and arrive deliciously for a timeless stay.
Breathtaking outdoor spaces
The outdoor spaces are simply breathtaking. You will have access to a private garden with a terrace, overlooking the orchard, as well as access to our shared garden of nearly 10,000 square meters, with its chicken coop, orchard, and three-line hedge (with over 50 varieties) all accessible to our guests. Further on, the treehouse with its swing will delight young and old. The endless view of the countryside will be your guaranteed happiness.
Exceptional outdoor kitchen
La Cense de Baudecet is also an exceptional cooking place! A place of conviviality, tasting, brasero, plancha, barbecue, … it does everything at the same time and above all it brings together an OFYR that we make available to our guests.

The interior of the property is just as charming. The farmhouse consists of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a private garden. Amenities such as WiFi + Ethernet outlets in all rooms, a connected television (Netflix, Prime Video), board games, a guitar, an entrance-closet with a separate toilet, a living room and dining room with a wood stove, a fully equipped kitchen, a master bedroom with a reading and office area, a children’s bedroom with bunk beds and a trundle bed, a bathroom with a toilet, and much more await you for a dream stay.
On the ground floor
On the ground floor, you will have access to an entrance-closet with a separate toilet. The living room and dining room with a wood stove offer views of the farm’s courtyard, while the fully equipped kitchen offers views of the garden.
On the 1st floor
On the 1st floor, you will find bedroom 1 (master bedroom) with a double bed (160*200), a reading area, and an office area, with views of the farm’s courtyard. Bedroom 2 (children’s bedroom) with bunk beds + trundle bed, library with books and games, and an old school desk is attached to the master bedroom and has views of the garden. There is also a bathroom with a toilet available.
Second floor
On the second floor, you will find bedroom 3 with a double bed or two twin beds (2 beds of 90200) and a view of the farm’s courtyard. Bedroom 4 with a double bed or two twin beds (2 beds of 90200) and a view of the garden. There is also a shower room + WC available for your comfort.
